Emergency Rush at Essex Tesco Extra
A man has died after suffering a medical emergency inside Tesco Extra in Pitsea, Essex — the UK’s largest Tesco and one of Europe’s biggest supermarkets.
On December 12, emergency crews raced to the busy store near Basildon following urgent calls. Two ambulances and a paramedic car arrived swiftly, but despite tireless efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ambulance Service Confirms Death
“Two ambulances and a paramedic car were sent to Tesco in Pitsea on December 12 following reports of a person with a medical emergency. Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, a person died at the scene,” confirmed an East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson.
