Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Tunbridge Wells, during which a man was reportedly attacked with a bottle.

Kent Police were called to Goods Station Road at 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 October 2024, following reports of a disturbance. It is alleged that one of the suspects struck the victim with a bottle, causing him to fall to the ground. The victim was then reportedly kicked by both suspects before they fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The following day, a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. Both suspects are currently in custody as the investigation continues.
