An air ambulance has landed on the Tesco car park at Loom Retail Park in Leigh as emergency services respond to a serious incident this morning (Thursday, 1 May).
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that the air ambulance was deployed due to an incident occurring nearby. Officers, along with paramedics and fire crews, were seen at the retail park shortly after the helicopter arrived.
At this stage, GMP has not released further details about the nature of the incident, but authorities have confirmed that they are dealing with an active and ongoing situation.
