A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal collision in Northolt and will appear in court on Monday, 28 January 2025.

Kamil Rouibah, of Squirrel Rise, Marlow Bottom, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and failing to stop for police. He is due to appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court.

The charges follow a tragic incident at approximately 04:40hrs on Monday, 27 January, when a BMW, traveling at high speed, was spotted by a patrolling police car. Shortly after, the BMW was involved in a collision with a Ford Focus on Ruislip Road.

Despite the quick response from London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade, the driver of the Ford Focus, a 47-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.

Two occupants of the BMW, both aged 25, were taken to hospital for treatment but were later discharged. They were arrested and subsequently charged as detailed above. A second man who was also arrested following the collision has been released with no further action.

The investigation is ongoing, and officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
