Three individuals have been arrested and charged following a robbery at a Vodafone store in Sittingbourne, where thousands of pounds worth of stock was stolen.

The suspects, including two men and a teenage boy, are accused of breaking into the store on High Street at around 5:20 pm on Thursday, 17 October 2024. Responding patrols swiftly located and arrested the trio in a park near Canterbury Street, Gillingham, by 7 pm the same evening. Several devices believed to be stolen were recovered during the arrests.

Kent Police are continuing to investigate and are particularly interested in locating a silver Audi A3 connected to the incident. The suspects, identified as Ionut Calin, 22, of Milton Road, Gillingham; Valentin Ciuraru, 24, of Central Park Road, East London; and a 17-year-old boy from East London, have been charged with robbery. They are scheduled to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 19 October.
