A woman has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Tower Bridge Road on Tuesday, September 24.

Police were called to the scene at around 4:02 p.m., where they found the woman injured following the crash. Emergency services, including ambulance crews and a paramedic in a response car from the London Ambulance Service, quickly responded to the incident.

The woman was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital. Her injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening. No arrests have been made in connection with the collision.

Road closures were briefly implemented while emergency services attended the scene. The roads have since reopened.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
Police were called at 16:02hrs to Tower Bridge Road after a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The woman has been taken to hospital, and her injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening. There have been no arrests.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added:
“We were called at 3:53 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday, September 24) to reports of a road traffic collision on Tower Bridge Road. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and a paramedic in a response car. Our crews treated a woman at the scene, before taking her to hospital.”

The incident led to minor disruptions in the area, but roads have since reopened to traffic.
