A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in Birmingham on Sunday evening. West Midlands Police responded to reports of a stabbing at a residence on Ingoldsby Road, Northfield, shortly before 9:00 PM on July 21.
The suspect, identified as Yasinur Jalal, 21, has been charged with wounding with intent. He is scheduled to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
The victim, a 19-year-old male, was transported to the hospital following the incident. Medical reports indicate that he suffered stab wounds to his back and chest. Fortunately, the injuries sustained are neither life-threatening nor life-changing, according to the police.
