Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Kirkdale, south London, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
At approximately 04:15hrs, officers on patrol were flagged down by a member of the public who alerted them to the incident. Met officers, alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, quickly responded and provided first aid to a 39-year-old man found suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital where his injuries were later assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing.
At this early stage, no arrests have been made, and enquiries into the circumstances of the stabbing are ongoing.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
An investigation has been launched, and officers are working to establish the full facts. We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.”
