A fundraising campaign has been initiated following the tragic death of 16-year-old Josh Ingram, who was fatally stabbed at Seaford railway station on Wednesday evening, 10 September. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, Josh was pronounced dead at the scene.

Incident Details

Officers from the , and the england/south-east/”>South East Coast Ambulance Service were dispatched to the station shortly after 5pm after reports of a stabbing. A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently remanded in custody, with a court appearance scheduled for today. Legal restrictions prevent the naming of the suspect due to his age.

Murder Investigation Underway

Detectives from BTP’s Major Crime Unit are conducting a murder investigation and have been carrying out forensic searches at the station, which remained closed for several hours.

BTP Detective Chief Inspector Paul stanley/”>Stanley commented, “This is a shocking incident which has resulted in the tragic loss of a young man this evening. The investigation remains in the early stages.
