A 35-year-old man has been charged with multiple drug supply offences after a significant police operation in Rookley. On Thursday, 12 September, officers executed a drugs warrant at an address on Harts Lane, seizing a large quantity of suspected Class A and B drugs, along with cash and drug paraphernalia.
The following day, a 24-year-old woman from Shanklin was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis, and possession of criminal property. She has been bailed with conditions until 13 December.
On Saturday, 21 September, Liam Estridge, 35, of Harts Lane, Rookley, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of criminal property, and driving without insurance.
Estridge was remanded in custody and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 September. He was further remanded into custody to appear at Newport Crown Court on Friday, 1 November 2024.
