Two men from Bexley have appeared in court charged with manslaughter after the death of a man who was struck by a bus in Erith. Mark Pearce, 40, of Lower Road, and Markie Collins, 18, of Galleon Close, face charges in connection with the death of Amamudin Alikhel, also known as Ali Khan.
The incident occurred on August 28, 2023, at around 10:25 p.m. when emergency services were called to West Road in Erith. Upon arrival, officers from the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service found that Ali Khan had been fatally injured after being hit by a bus. Both Pearce and Collins appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on September 18 and were granted bail. They are scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on October 16, where the case will continue.
