A young man has died following a tragic collision involving a lorry on Lytton Grove, SW15. The London Ambulance Service called police at 1:43 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, after receiving reports of the incident.

Emergency services, including paramedics and police officers, promptly attended the scene. Despite their best efforts, the pedestrian—believed to be in his 20s—sadly succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.

The driver of the lorry remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests have been made.

Road closures are currently in effect as police conduct inquiries and clear the area. Commuters and local residents are advised to avoid the vicinity and seek alternative routes. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.

A Spokesman for the Met Police said: Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 13:43hrs on Saturday, 2 November to reports of a collision between a lorry and pedestrian on Lytton Grove, SW15.

Emergency services attended. Sadly, despite the efforts of paramedics the pedestrian – who is believed to be aged in his 20s – died a short time later.

The driver stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.

Road closures are in place.
