A 60-year-old woman has been charged after a stabbing in Sittingbourne left another woman needing hospital treatment.
Patrols were called to a multi-storey car park in East Street shortly before 8pm on Wednesday, 27 August following reports of a serious assault.
Victim Treated in Hospital
Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service, who treated a woman in her 40s for injuries consistent with stab wounds.
She was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention and later discharged.
Suspect Charged
Later the same evening, Tina Tomsett, of Crown Quay Lane, Sittingbourne, was arrested in connection with the incident.
She has since been charged with:
- Causing grievous bodily harm with intent
- Possessing a bladed article in a public place
Tomsett was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 29 August.

Detectives are appealing for further information. A Kent Police spokesperson said:
