A 17-year-old boy has been convicted of manslaughter following the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Nathan Bawuah in Hackney, East London. The youth, who cannot be named due to his age, was found guilty at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday, November 29. He had previously pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon.

Nathan Bawuah was fatally stabbed just before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, on Hackney Road, E2. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, responded swiftly, but despite their efforts, Nathan tragically died at the scene.
