Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the arrests of two suspects in connection with a robbery in Folkestone.
The incident occurred on Saturday, 1 February 2025, at around 10pm, when a man walking along Beachborough Road was reportedly threatened at knifepoint by the occupants of a white car that had stopped.
The suspects are alleged to have stolen the victim’s mobile phone, which was then used to transfer money from his bank account. Police have confirmed that the victim and the suspects are known to each other.
Arrests Made
On Monday, 3 February, officers arrested:
- An 18-year-old man from Folkestone
- A 17-year-old boy from Hythe
Both suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue.

Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information regarding the white car or the events leading up to the robbery to come forward.
