A major fire has broken out at the Chiltern Firehouse, a luxury hotel and restaurant in Marylebone, with eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters battling the blaze.
Fire Spreading Through Ducting System
The fire, which started in the ducting system, extends from the ground floor to the roof of the four-storey building, which houses a restaurant on the ground floor.
Evacuations and Emergency Response
Approximately 100 people safely evacuated the building before the London Fire Brigade (LFB) arrived at the scene.

The Brigade’s 999 Control officers received the first emergency call at 2:52 PM, immediately dispatching fire crews from:
- Euston
- Soho
- Paddington
- West Hampstead
- Kensington
- Chelsea
Firefighters Still Battling the Blaze
As of now, firefighters remain on site, working to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and investigations will begin once the scene is secured.

Authorities are urging the public to avoid Chiltern Street, as road closures and emergency operations are ongoing.
