A dramatic emergency response unfolded this afternoon as an air ambulance landed in Sutton Green, Sutton, following an incident in Jengar Close.

Paramedics and police were seen sprinting towards the scene shortly after 2.05pm today (8 May 2025), where eyewitnesses reported significant activity.

The London Air Ambulance helicopter, registration G-LAAA, landed at Sutton Green before taking off again and flying to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

 

Bystanders say that the injured person went by land ambulance under  a police escort .

It remains unclear at this stage if there have been any casualties or arrests. Emergency services have been contacted for further details, and investigations are ongoing.

A witness at the scene said they observed “police, ambulance and air paramedics running into a nearby street.
