Police Appeal for Dash Cam Footage After Woman Hit by Van in Radlett

A woman has been left with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Radlett, Hertfordshire, and police are urgently appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:40pm on Saturday, 17 May, at the roundabout junction of Park Road and Watling Street. A white Ford Transit van left the roadway and struck a pedestrian on the pavement.

The pedestrian, a woman believed to be in her 40s, was rushed to hospital and remains in stable condition. The driver of the van was uninjured and remained at the scene.

Investigation Underway

Sergeant Luke Morley, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, is leading the investigation and has issued a public appeal.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision and is yet to speak to police, to please get in contact,” Sgt Morley said.

“If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may have captured something which could help us with our investigation.”
