A 22-year-old man has been injured after shots were fired at a vehicle near Grangewood Park in South Norwood on Wednesday, 4 June 2025.
Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service crews were called to Grange Road at 4:35pm following reports of gunfire. At the scene, officers discovered a damaged vehicle and a bullet casing, confirming that a firearm had been discharged.
The injured man was located nearby with minor bullet wounds. However, he declined medical treatment, police said.
Investigation Underway, No Arrests Yet
A Met Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called at 16:35hrs on Wednesday, 4 June to reports of shots being fired in South Norwood. A 22-year-old man with minor bullet injuries was located nearby. He declined medical attention.”
An investigation is ongoing, and as of Thursday morning, no arrests have been made. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage, or information to come forward.
