A Sandwell man has been slammed with a hefty jail sentence after he was caught sexually abusing and filming vulnerable young boys. Stuart Langford, 35, from Tipton, preyed on youngsters by offering money and gifts before abusing them.
Langford’s Twisted Crimes Uncovered
Langford admitted guilt to a string of child sex offences at Wolverhampton Crown Court, including sexual activity with a child, voyeurism, and creating indecent images.
He has been locked up for seven years and five months. On top of that, Langford faces lifelong restrictions as he was placed on the Sex Offender Register for life and slapped with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order banning any contact with anyone under 16.
Victim Courage Leads to Arrest
The monster was caught after a 15-year-old boy bravely stepped forward. The youngster revealed Langford’s relentless sexual harassment via texts. Despite warnings from the family, Langford kept pursuing the boy, even arranging a meeting where he tried to abuse him.
Thankfully, the boy escaped and reported Langford to police. Officers found damning footage on Langford’s laptop showing abuse of another child.
Police Condemn Langford’s Actions
“Langford is a sexual predator who has had a profound effect on both of these children’s lives. I hope today’s sentencing will offer some justice and help them move on.”
