Fugitive Rapist Sentenced in Absence After Court No-Show
A man found guilty of horrific crimes in Crewe has been slammed with an eight-year prison sentence – but he skipped out before he could be locked up.
Foisal Ahmed’s Shocking Offences
Foisal Ahmed, 34, from West Street, Buckingham, was convicted of two counts of rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and child neglect following a gruelling nine-day trial in September 2025.
The disturbing case began in November 2023 when Cheshire Police were called to a Crewe address. The victim revealed that Ahmed had repeatedly assaulted and raped her over several months. He also abused her young child during the same period.
On the Run – Police Hunt Ahmed
Ahmed was arrested and charged soon after, but he failed to show up on the final day of his trial. A warrant has now been issued for his arrest.
Police are urgently urging anyone with information on Ahmed’s whereabouts to come forward.
“Anyone with info is asked to contact Cheshire Police immediately,” authorities said.
