Two men have been hospitalized following a suspected shooting in Brixton during the early hours of this morning. The Metropolitan Police were called to Loughborough Road, near the junction with Overton Road, at approximately 12:07 am, where they found two men suffering from injuries.
The victims, aged 24 and 26, were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The 24-year-old is currently in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, while the 26-year-old’s injuries have been assessed as non-life-threatening.
The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are actively pursuing multiple lines of inquiry to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the attack. Despite extensive efforts, no arrests have been made at this stage.
