Shevane Collins, 32, from england/lewisham/”>Lewisham, has been slammed with a five-year prison sentence after orchestrating a County Lines operation supplying crack cocaine and heroin to Eastbourne.
County Lines Crackdown Hits Hampden Park
Following a five-day trial at Lewes Crown Court, Collins was found guilty of multiple serious drug offences. Police uncovered his role in shuttling Class A drugs from London into Eastbourne’s Hampden Park between September 2020 and January 2021.
Officers linked Collins through his phone and vehicle to the illegal drug supplies. He was caught twice in early 2021, with crack cocaine seized from his car. Additionally, Overover £3,000 cash was found during a raid on his home.

- Possession of crack cocaine
Despite denying all charges at his April 2022 arrest, a jury convicted Collins on every count.
“Collins’ offending shows how County Lines devastates communities by flooding them with dangerous drugs,” said Detective Constable David Brown from the Economic Crime Unit.
“We are determined to disrupt these networks and bring offenders to justice.”
Collins will serve five years behind bars – a sharp warning to those exploiting vulnerable towns with deadly drug gangs.
