A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in New Cross, south-east London, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police were called at 05:38am on Saturday, 16 August to reports of a stabbing on New Cross Road, SE14.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended alongside London Ambulance Service paramedics, where they found a 55-year-old man suffering from stab injuries.

He was rushed to hospital, where his condition was assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.

A police cordon is currently in place on New Cross Road as detectives investigate the circumstances.
The Met has urged anyone with information to come forward. A spokesperson said:
“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 1645/16Aug.”
