Railway Line Blocked Due To Flooding At Plumpton

The railway line between Haywards Heath and Plumpton is blocked due to flooding at Plumpton.

Network Rail said “The line is still blocked by this river of water. We can’t run trains until we can be sure the water hasn’t washed away the base of stone the track sits on but we are monitoring the situation.

Southern rail are diverting Trains between Ore/Eastbourne and London Victoria via Brighton.
