Emergency services are currently responding to a major fire at a residential apartment block on Leman Street in East London.
At approximately 6:35pm, London Fire Brigade received reports of a serious blaze at Cashmere House, Leman Street, East London.

The incident has been declared a fifteen-pump fire, indicating a large-scale emergency response with multiple fire engines on scene.
Crucially, the fire is being treated as person unaccounted for incident — meaning individuals may still be trapped inside the building.

A large number emergency crews have been seen to arriving on Alie Street, where additional support teams and response units are gathering.

There is a significant emergency presence in the area, and members of the public are urged to avoid Leman Street and surrounding roads to allow emergency services to work safely and efficiently.

As of now, the cause of the fire is unknown, and there has been no official confirmation on injuries or casualties.
