A man has died after falling from a height near Lewisham Station in south-east London this morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after 8.15am on Sunday, June 15, but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
What Happened?
The incident occurred at Station Road, at its junction with Lewisham High Street, prompting a large emergency response. Both Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended.
“Police were called at 8.13am on Sunday, 15 June to reports of a male injured after falling from a height in Station Road, SE13,” said a police spokesperson.

According to LAS, paramedics were dispatched to Lewisham DLR Station after reports that a person had fallen. The first paramedic arrived in under five minutes. Despite efforts, the man was declared deceased at 8.17am.
London Ambulance Service Statement:
“We were called at 8.09am today (15 June) to reports of a person who had fallen from height at Lewisham DLR Station, in Junction Approach.
“Sadly the patient died at the scene.”
Area Closure and Police Investigation
Station Road remains closed, with a police cordon in place as officers continue to investigate the circumstances. The death is currently being treated as unexpected, and no further details about the man’s identity have been released.
Authorities are working to inform the man’s next of kin. The cause of the fall is still under investigation, and it is not yet known if foul play is suspected.
