A man in his 30s has been hospitalized following an attack by two men in East London on Friday night.
Emergency Response
Around 21:00hrs on Friday, 4 April, police and the London Ambulance Service were called to Gaverick Mews after reports that a man had been assaulted.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found the victim suffering from injuries, which were later assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing. He was promptly taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed that they had dispatched several units to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer, and a paramedic in a fast response car. They provided medical assistance at the scene before transporting the injured man to the hospital.
Ongoing Investigation
The Metropolitan Police stated that the investigation is still at an early stage and no arrests have been made at this time. Enquiries are ongoing as detectives work to gather information and trace the suspects involved in the assault.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said:
Our investigation is continuing at pace. We urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward and assist us.”
