A man has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision involving a car and a moped in Anerley earlier today.
Emergency services were called to Anerley Road, Bromley, at 12:09 PM on Friday, 11 April, after receiving reports of a crash.
Metropolitan Police officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, where a man was found with injuries sustained in the collision.
Treated at the Scene, Injuries Not Life-Threatening
The victim, believed to have been riding the moped, was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital. Police later confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening.
A Met Police spokesperson said:
“On Friday, 11 April at 12:09hrs police were called to Anerley Road, Bromley following reports of a road traffic collision between a car and moped.
Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a man before taking him to hospital. His injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening.
There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue.”
Investigation Underway
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. No arrests have been made at this stage.
Motorists are advised to use caution while travelling through the area, although Anerley Road has since been reopened.
