Man Stabbed on Barking Road, East London — Police Appeal for Witnesses
Overview
A 26-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on Barking Road (E6) late last night.
Police were called to the scene at 22:52hrs on Friday, 1 August, following reports of a stabbing. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found the victim suffering from stab injuries.
He was rushed to hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
Investigation Underway — No Arrests Yet
No arrests have been made so far, and detectives are appealing for witnesses and information to help trace those responsible.
Additional police patrols have been deployed in the Barking Road area to reassure the community and assist with the investigation.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
“Enquiries are ongoing. We ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.”
