A pedestrian has been left in critical condition following a serious collision involving a motorbike in Chessington on Sunday evening.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 8:10pm on Sunday, 9 March, to reports of a motorbike hitting a pedestrian on Bridge Road.

Emergency services, including officers and paramedics, attended the scene swiftly. The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition, according to police.

An investigation is now underway to determine the full circumstances of the collision. No further details about the pedestrian or the motorbike rider have yet been released.

A police spokesperson said:

“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the collision, is urged to come forward.”
