Road Rage Incident on A406: Mercedes Driver Attacks HGV in North London

A road rage incident on the A406 in Enfield, North London, has sparked a police investigation after an enraged driver in a cream-coloured Mercedes allegedly damaged an HGV.

 

Following an altercation, the Mercedes driver reportedly exited his vehicle, approached the HGV, and began smashing its wing mirrors, even ripping off the broken mirror glass, while the HGV driver locked himself inside the cab for safety.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed they received a report regarding the incident, describing the behaviour as “outrageous.” Officers are currently examining dashcam footage from the HGV in an attempt to trace the suspect.

The incident has raised concerns about escalating road rage in the area, and police are encouraging any witnesses or others with dashcam footage from the A406 at the time to come forward.
