A stabbing in Woodford Green on Thursday evening (August 7) has left three people injured, with two taken to a major trauma centre, according to emergency services.

London Ambulance Service crews were called to Liston Way at approximately 6pm, following reports of a violent incident involving multiple victims.

Air Ambulance Deployed

A London Air Ambulance helicopter was seen landing in nearby fields as part of the emergency response. Paramedics treated three patients at the scene:

  • Two were taken to a major trauma centre with serious injuries.

  • One was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

Their current conditions have not been made public.

Ongoing Investigation

Police have not yet confirmed the circumstances surrounding the stabbing or whether any arrests have been made. The area has since been secured, and officers are appealing for witnesses.

Witness Appeal

Anyone who was in the Liston Way area around the time of the incident or who has relevant information is urged to come forward.

Traffic Unaffected

Despite the serious nature of the incident, live traffic maps show that traffic in the surrounding area, including Broadmead Road, remains flowing freely with no significant congestion.
