On Tuesday, September 9, two 16-year-olds were travelling on a Thameslink train between england/streatham/”>Streatham and hill-wales/”>hill/”>Tulse Hill when they were approached by two older men.
The men demanded the teenagers’ phones and clothing items. When the teenagers refused, they were physically attacked and punched by the assailants, who also threatened to kill them.
The British Transport Police (BTP) is now appealing for witnesses. They urge anyone who saw the incident or has information to come forward.
Anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 697 of September 9. Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
A BTP spokesperson stated: “Officers are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were threatened and attacked on a train to Tulse Hill.”
