The family of 32-year-old Daniel Conway from Swindon has shared a deeply emotional tribute after his tragic death in a crash on the M4.
Tragic M4 Collision Claims Daniel’s Life
Daniel lost his life in a road traffic collision on the M4 during the early hours of Sunday, 30 November 2025. Another man who was in the vehicle remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Family’s Emotional Statement
“We are absolutely devastated at the loss of Daniel (also known as Conway or Dan). He was a much loved son and daddy as well as a family member and friend to many. Daniel was known for his positive outlook on life, his infectious smile and how he was always able to make people laugh. Daniel was always kind and had a beautiful energy around him. We appreciate all the kind messages and cards. Our lives are so much darker now without the light and sparkle Daniel brought to everyone who knew him. We now ask you to allow us time to grieve privately while we navigate our loss.”
Police Update: Man Bailed After Arrest
The man recovering in hospital was arrested at the scene on suspicion of failing to provide a drink and drugs sample, and causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been bailed with conditions.
Wiltshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team continues to appeal for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage from the time to come forward.
