A 36-year-old man from Swindon has been snapped up by police over a serious stabbing in Penhill. The victim, aged 39, is fighting for life in the hospital after the brutal attack.

Police Appeal for Witnesses
Chief Inspector Carly Nesbitt urged locals: “We want anyone who was near the North Swindon Family Centre on Atworth Close around 5:30 pm tonight to come forward if they saw anything.”
“We know this will have shaken the community. Expect extra police patrols in the area for the coming days. If you have concerns or information, please speak to our officers.”
“At this stage, we’re not searching for anyone else connected to the stabbing and don’t believe there’s any ongoing threat.”
