The tragic event unfolded around 18:28hrs on Tuesday, 5 December, in Vine Close, E5. The emergency call brought police and paramedics to a scene of horror where three individuals were found with gunshot wounds. Despite the valiant efforts of the emergency services, Gordon was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident has deeply impacted her family, who are being supported by specialist family liaison officers during this harrowing time.

Two others, a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, were also caught in the gunfire and are currently receiving medical treatment. The extent of their injuries and their conditions are still being assessed.
