A 14-year-old boy has suffered potentially life-changing leg injuries following a hit-and-run collision in Newmarket Green, SE9, on Monday morning.

Incident Details
Police were called at 11:14 AM on December 2 after reports of a car colliding with a boy riding an e-bike. Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, where the teenager was found with significant injuries.
The boy was rushed to the hospital, where his injuries are being assessed. Medical professionals have described the injuries as potentially life-changing.

Driver Fled the Scene
The vehicle involved did not stop, and the driver fled the scene. Police have launched an investigation to locate the car and its driver. No arrests have been made as of now.

The Metropolitan Police are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the collision or captured it on camera.
