Armed officers from the Metropolitan police “Trojan”  along with response officers were scrambled to Moorland Road in Borough of  Lambeth just after 10:30 pm on Friday,  (December 9th) following reports of a person being shot by a weapon.

A large number of residents have been stopped from returning to their properties.

A large crime scene remains in place. A spokesman for the Met Police said:  Officers are investigating shots fired in the Moorland Road area of Brixton just after 10pm last night.
