Shock in Blunsdon as a woman in her 40s was dragged down the road after a thief stole her Vanvan during a delivery this afternoon (22/09). england/south-west/england/south-west/wiltshire/”>wiltshire/”>Wiltshire Police are urgently hunting for dash Camcam footage and witnesses to help crack the case.
Victim Clings to Van During Daring Theft
At around 12:30pm, an unknown suspect targeted a white delivery van on Blunsdon High Street. While the driver was dropping off a parcel, the thief jumped into the vehicle and sped off. The driver tried to hold onto the van but was violently dragged along the road.
The woman was rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries. Police have since recovered the stolen van but are continuing their investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Wiltshire Police have spoken to several witnesses but want to hear from anyone else with information or dash cam footage of the incident.
