A 16-year-old boy has appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court charged with multiple counts of rape following an alleged incident earlier this month.
The alleged offences took place on 10 August 2025 and involve a female complainant aged 14. The court heard the pair had been in a relationship for around two months prior to the alleged incident.
It is claimed the defendant forced himself on the complainant despite her telling him to stop. The prosecution alleged that the complainant was a virgin at the time and that the defendant sent her a message afterwards asking how she felt about losing her virginity.
The court was told the boy is already on bail in connection with separate alleged sexual offences against children, including incidents involving a 16-year-old. He was already subject to a supervision order for the rape of a 5 year old child and a 16 year old girl. Teen is currently subject to management under the Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA).
The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, lives in the Barnet area. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at crown court at a later date.
