A 15-year-old boy was stabbed and rushed to the hospital following an incident in Surrey Quays last night (Tuesday, September 3). Police and paramedics were called to Quebec Way at 9:16 pm after receiving reports of a stabbing.

The boy was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made yet, and investigations are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 21:16hrs on Tuesday, 3 September to reports of a stabbing in Quebec Way, SE16. Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a 15-year-old boy suffering stab injuries. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called at 9:18 pm on Tuesday, 3 September to reports of a stabbing incident in Quebec Way, SE16. We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance. The first of our crews arrived in five minutes. Our crews treated a teenager at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.

Authorities are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact the police on 101, quoting CAD 7448/03SEP.
