Police have launched an investigation after a man died from a head injury in Walthamstow.
At around 1.07pm officers responded to reports of an injured man in Summit Road, E17. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene and treated a man in his 40s for a serious head injury.
He was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Detectives say the death is currently being treated as unexpected and enquiries are under way to establish how he came by his injuries.
