A person has tragically died after being struck by a train on the Stansted Express line, resulting in significant disruptions for rail passengers. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the tracks near Northumberland Park station, affecting services between Cheshunt and Tottenham Hale and causing a complete standstill on the line.
British Transport Police confirmed that officers and paramedics attended the scene, but the individual was sadly pronounced dead.
