The family of Regan Phillips, a 25-year-old man from Hoo, who was last seen on CCTV outside a McDonald’s in Strood, has expressed growing concern, describing his disappearance as “out of character.”
Phillips had been out with work colleagues in Rochester on Friday evening before he was captured on camera at approximately 11.15pm outside the fast-food restaurant on Commercial Road, Strood. He was last seen walking towards the high street.
Family’s Growing Concerns
Phillips’ mother, Julie Phillips, spoke to KentOnline, revealing that her son was “really excited” about his night out with work friends at the George Vaults on Rochester High Street. “He has never gone missing before and has always told us where he is going,” she said.

According to Julie, her daughter received a call from the police on Saturday after Phillips’ neighbour reported his absence, concerned that he had not returned to his flat. “The police checked the flat, and he wasn’t there,” she added.
Phillips had reportedly messaged his neighbour shortly before midnight, stating that he would be back home around 12:10 am. However, he never returned, and there has been no contact since.
Appeal for Information
Kent Police have shared CCTV images of Phillips in hopes of gathering information from the public. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to come forward.
Phillips is described as being 5ft 7in tall, with short brown hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a navy blue long-sleeved shirt, dark grey trousers, and brown shoes.
Kent Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 999, quoting reference number 19-0911.
The family, friends, and authorities remain hopeful for Phillips’ safe return as the search continues.
