A man has been hospitalized following a stabbing on Halloween night in Leytonstone. Emergency services were called to the A11 High Road at 6:58 pm on October 31 after receiving reports of a stabbing incident.

The London Ambulance Service dispatched an incident response officer, a tactical response unit, and paramedics in fast-response cars to the scene. London’s Air Ambulance charity was also flown in to assist, providing critical support for one of London’s most serious incidents of the night.

The injured man was stabilized at the scene and then taken by road to a major trauma centre. His condition remains unknown at this time.

The A11 High Road has been closed in both directions between Crownfield Road and Belton Road, causing significant disruptions. Bus routes towards Walthamstow and Stratford have been impacted, and traffic diversions are in place.

The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further information, and the investigation is ongoing.
