Police have launched an appeal for information after a man was stabbed in Sparkbrook, Birmingham, on Monday evening.
West Midlands Police said officers were called to the scene just before 6pm following reports of a stabbing at the junction of Grantham Road and Palmerston Road.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A police spokesperson said:
“We were called to reports of a stabbing in Sparkbrook just before 6pm yesterday. A man had reportedly been stabbed at the junction of Grantham Road and Palmerston Road. He was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life changing or life threatening.”
A cordon was put in place at the scene while officers conducted initial enquiries. No arrests have yet been made, and detectives are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
“We’re appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or who may have dashcam or doorbell footage from around the time of the incident, to get in touch,” the force added.
