A man has been charged with assault following an incident in Ramsgate that left a man in his 60s with a head injury.
Kent Police were called at 10.41pm on Friday, 28 %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%, to Harbour Street after receiving a report of an injured person. Emergency services arrived to find a man with a head injury, who was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% hospital. The victim remains in a stable condition.
Following initial investigations at the scene, officers determined that the man had been assaulted. A %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% was subsequently identified and arrested in connection with the incident.
Marshall Mitchell, 34, of Crescent Road, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%%, has been charged with unlawful wounding. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before Margate Magistrates’ %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% on Monday, 31 March.
