British Transport Police (BTP) detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they urgently wish to speak to following a sexual assault on a teenage boy travelling between Worthing and Durrington-on-Sea.
The assault took place on Friday, 7 %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% 2025, during the 7:54am service from Worthing. Officers say the suspect boarded the train at %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% Worthing station, sat opposite the teenage victim, and sexually assaulted him during the journey.
Public Appeal for Information
%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% are asking for the public's help in identifying the man pictured in the released CCTV image, who they believe could hold vital information to assist their investigation.
A spokesperson for %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% said:
“We take all reports of sexual offences extremely seriously. We are urging anyone who recognises the man in the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% image to come forward as a matter of urgency.
