Detectives are urgently appealing for a key witness to come forward after a knife was discarded during a dramatic police incident in Hills Terrace, Chatham.
At around 7pm on Friday, 2 May, officers detained an 18-year-old man from %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% who was seen acting suspiciously. During the arrest, a motorist approached police, reporting that the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% had thrown a knife to the ground.
Officers swiftly recovered a lock knife at the scene, and the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% was taken into custody. He has since been bailed pending further %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%%.
